Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident subscribing to Lore. The refund process that applies to your purchase depends on the payment provider through which you purchased your subscription.
Purchases made through our website
Website purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of an initial subscription payment or renewal payment. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be declined where the subscription has been substantially used or where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior. All refunds are subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms, Paddle’s Refund Policy, and applicable law.
After 14 days, subscription payments are generally non-refundable, and we do not ordinarily provide partial or prorated refunds for unused time remaining in a billing period.
To request a refund, use the subscription-management or receipt link in your Paddle purchase confirmation email, or contact Paddle’s buyer support.
Purchases made through Apple
Subscriptions purchased through Apple’s App Store are billed and managed by Apple.
Refund eligibility and refund decisions for these purchases are governed by Apple’s applicable refund policies and terms. Lore cannot directly issue or approve refunds for purchases billed by Apple.
You can submit a refund request through Apple’s Report a Problem service or contact Apple Support.
Purchases made through Google Play
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are billed and managed through Google Play.
Refund eligibility and refund decisions for these purchases are governed by Google Play’s applicable refund policies and terms, together with any rights available under applicable law. Refund requests should generally be submitted through Google Play’s refund process. In some circumstances, Google may direct you to contact Lore for further assistance.
Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the platform or payment provider through which you originally purchased it:
Website purchases must be cancelled through the Paddle subscription-management portal.
Apple App Store purchases must be cancelled through your Apple subscription settings.
Google Play purchases must be cancelled through your Google Play subscription settings.
Unless a refund is approved, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and you will generally retain access until that date. You will not be charged again after the cancellation becomes effective.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically request or issue a refund.
Identifying your payment provider
Your purchase receipt or confirmation email will identify whether your subscription was billed through Paddle, Apple, or Google Play.
Purchasing on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device does not necessarily determine which refund policy applies. The applicable process is based on the payment provider shown on your receipt.
Technical problems
If a persistent technical problem materially prevents you from accessing your subscription, please contact Lore support so that we can attempt to resolve it.
Any resulting refund remains subject to the policies and procedures of the payment provider that processed the purchase, as well as applicable law.
Refund abuse and payment disputes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, refund requests may be declined where there is evidence of fraud, repeated refund abuse, manipulation, or misuse of the service.
If a refund is issued, access to the refunded subscription and its associated benefits may end immediately.
We encourage you to contact Lore support or the applicable payment provider before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that there is an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund, withdrawal, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted in your country.
If this policy conflicts with the mandatory requirements of applicable law or the binding terms of the payment provider that processed your purchase, those requirements or terms will control.
